RETURNS and EXCHANGES

 

We want you to absolutely love your purchase! If you're not completely satisfied, no worries – we gladly accept returns.

Just drop us a quick email to info@fortheloveofcapecod within 14 days, starting from the date the order is marked as delivered by the carrier. To qualify for a return, please ensure all items are unused, unworn, unopened, unwashed, in their original condition, and in the original packaging. However, certain items are excluded from returns, including: gift cards, customized items, or those marked as final sale. Please note, our return and exchange policy lasts for 14 days from the date you received your purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges beyond this period.

Return shipping fees are not covered by For the Love of Cape Cod, and we kindly ask that you reach out to us before the 14-day window closes to facilitate your return. Once you contact us, we'll provide you with all the necessary instructions. Please do not send your items back to the manufacturer. Refunds will be initiated upon receipt and inspection of the returned items, and confirmation the items meet our refund eligibility criteria, preventing fraudulent or unauthorized returns and ensuring a fair process.

Exchanges
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item. Please email info@fortheloveofcapecod as soon as you receive the item(s) for detailed instructions. If contacted within 14 days we will be happy to send you a replacement item. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Since each product is custom printed upon ordering, please note that we cannot accept exchanges for wrong sizes ordered. Please check the sizing chart for each item, as they may vary. 

Refunds
To return your product, please email info@fortheloveofcapecod for instructions. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs to Massachusetts for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Once we receive your return, the credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a few days. We will notify you by email once the credit has been assigned. If you haven’t received your refund within 7 days of receiving the notification email, please take the following steps:
1) Double check your bank account.
2) Contact your credit card company; sometimes it takes a while for refunds to be processed.
3) Contact your bank; there may be a delay before a refund is posted.
